Tanner Lecture on Human Values with Neil deGrasse Tyson


Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist and director of the Hayden Planetarium, will present the annual Tanner Lecture on Human Values, “Science as a Way of Knowing.”

Dr. Tyson’s books will be for sale and he will be signing copies in the Kingsbury Hall lobby after the lecture concludes.

This event is sold out, but will be broadcast live to these additional campus venues:

Marriott Library Gould Auditorium – map
Social and Behavioral Sciences Auditorium – map
Social Work Auditorium – map

Broadcasts are free (no ticket required), with doors opening at 6PM.

Free event; ticket required. There is a 4 ticket limit PER person.


Parking Information:

Free parking is available at Rice Eccles Stadium with shuttle service available from the south side of the lot to the theatre
